Laurent Zylberman’s first assignments were photographing the music scene in London in the early 1980s. After an attempt to hitch-hike to New York City, via Greenland, where he was stopped, Zylberman eventually moved to Mexico, China, and India, where he covered industrial and social development for the Sygma Photo Agency (now Corbis) and Asiaweek. In 1997 he returned to Europe and is now based in Paris. In 1981, Zylberman founded Graphix-Images, a photo agency specializing in corporate communications. He runs the daily photoblog 365 Degrees. In New York, Laurent is represented by Sous les Etoiles Gallery.
