For twenty years Trace Foundation has supported the continuity, development, and vitality of Tibetan communities. We work with people to better their lives and reinforce the uniqueness of Tibetan culture, language, and places.
Building clinics and schools, conducting small business training, hosting conferences and symposia to support culture and development, assisting hundreds of families through emergency relief, and funding research on Tibetan grasslands—these are just a few of the many projects we’ve supported since 1993. Though our organizational priorities have changed and continue to grow as we evolve as an organization, our work and vision remain steadfast. Below, read more about some of our past projects.
Preparing individuals for future employment, empowering them to participate in the conversation about their future, and guiding development through scholarships to promising individuals who are committed to improving the Tibetan-medium education system, and the overall quality of life in Tibetan areas.
